The Pre-Medical Society
AT THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT SAN ANTONIO
Welcome to the Pre-Medical Society! We’re a student organization at UTSA dedicated to helping students explore and prepare for a career in medicine. We aim to promote excellence in pre-medical scholarship by supporting students that want to pursue a medical career.
As future doctors, Pre-Med Society prepares people who are dedicated in making a difference in people's lives. In regards to education, medical schools look for well-rounded individuals who show that they have both compassion and an aptitude for learning. One of the best ways of accomplishing this is through volunteering. To correspond with our theme of “Family”, Pre-Med Society will be focusing on doing group volunteering activities on and off-campus. These activities range from healthcare related experiences as well as community building activities. Our dedicated members will be exposed to a wide range of events that encompass character building as well as resume building.
