The Pre-Medical Society
AT THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT SAN ANTONIO
Welcome to the Pre-Medical Society! We’re a student organization at UTSA dedicated to helping students explore and prepare for a career in medicine. We aim to promote excellence in pre-medical scholarship by supporting students that want to pursue a medical career.
Journal Article and Book Club (JAB)
JAB is a resource that the Pre-Medical Society offers that consists of biweekly meetings where members can learn about and discuss groundbreaking research and controversial issues in the healthcare field, and how they will affect us and our future careers.

JAB has a new program titled Reading Interpretation Skills and Application (RISA) where we focus on developing critical reading techniques useful for analyzing not only research, but also to dissect CARS passages on the MCAT.
JAB Discussion Dates
Dates will vary per week so please check our calendar!
