The Pre-Medical Society at UTSA is an organization designed to familiarize, prepare, and inform our members of the astounding field of medicine. As a supporting and instructional organization, we strive to acquaint our members with the actual medical world and engage our members in the social, moral and ethical obligations seen in the professional world of medicine. We accomplish this feat through inviting speakers from varying healthcare professions to speak at our meetings, taking tours to varying medical schools, providing computerized practice MCAT tests, and by offering opportunities to participate in volunteer activities. Officers are always available to aid in educating students on the admissions process for medical school while also guiding them through the obstacles of academia and college life.
